The South African Press Association reserves the right to decline access and publishing rights to its content by any concern that operates, or has links to other operations which are contrary to Sapa's code of association: "To uphold its image as a credible, reliable, impartial and reputable news agency functioning also in the general public interest, Sapa reserves the right to decline any business association with any organisations or individuals which could harm, or have a negative effect on, the good image and reputation of the Association. Any organisations or individuals that engage in or are linked to operations which, in the reasonable opinion of the Association's management, publish or promote, among others but not exclusively, criminal behaviour, substance and other abuse, pornography, obscenity, blasphemy, racism and sexism, are deemed to be outside the boundary of Sapa's desired associations. "
